Volunteer Awards

There are two kinds of awards for volunteers, earned and nominated.

Earned awards are those that the volunteer can submit the paperwork for themselves, if they choose to do so. These include things like Years of Service pins and Management or Leadership Development Pins and Leaves.

Nominated awards are also available for many different types of Girl Scout Volunteer and they must be nominated for these awards by others. Depending on the Specific award, they can be given to honor dedicated Leaders, Service Unit Team Members, one time volunteers (like special guest speakers), non-Girl Scouts that have done something significant for some aspect of Girl Scouting, or even for organizations that have furthered the cause of Girl Scouting, such as a church, community organization or business.
